Dear John,

How are you getting on these days.
I am writing to you this time to ask you for your advice on my English study.
I have something trouble with my English. I have studied hard but I find little progress have I made since I began to learn English. Firstly, I alway forget most of the new words in the text although I try hard to bear them in mind. Besides, I want to inprove my spoken English and always talk in Englsh with my classmates; unfortunately, I don't dare to speak English in class. Moreover, in order to train my aural comprehension, I have kept on listening to English tapes and sometimes seing some English videos. But things alway go contrary to my wishes，however I pay my attention to them, I cannot underestand a sentence of them. What should I do? Thank you for an early reply.

Hi, John, Long time no see.I need your advice about English study. I have been learning English hard with my classmates, but I still dare not talk in English at the class. The new words are so hard for me to memorize, although I try hard.I have spent lots of time listening to the English tapes and sometimes watching English videos. However, I cannot understand much. Can you please tell me how to solve these problems. I hope that I can improve my speaking and listening quickly so that I can talk to you when we meet.
