您好！do reading 和 do some reading 哪个对？都对吗？理由？谢谢！

do some reading是正确的。do reading不正确。没有理由。就跟杯子为什么不叫碗或者锅或者盆一样。如果一定要给个理由，那就是，英语里的固定搭配，do some 加动名词。do some cleaning.

类似的有go swimming, go hiking
在这种结构里，就不能用go some swimming。理由同上。就是固定搭配，最不是理由的理由。

语言本身有特殊性。某种语言里，大家习惯了某种表达方式。这种约定俗成本身就是最强悍的理由。

都有相同意思，用哪个自己选，
对高三 to name but a few 应该不太难，是可以用的。

但是 “and so on，etc” 不对，因为 and so on 和 etc 放在一起是重复的。
例句：

I need some help getting ready for dinner, setting the table, taking out the food, and so on.
There are many modes of transportation today, such as airplanes, trains, buses, private cars, etc.
