Jenny: How are you doing? Thank you for sending the email. I am sorry for such a late reply...your email went to my spam folder.
After leaving the Love English camp my daugher and I went to Beijing and had a tremendous time seeing the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. What an amazing city with such incredible history.
We returned home on July 18. We had such a great time in China...we loved every minute of it. It was a pleasure getting to know you. I was so impressed by the level of English that you have learned and I would like to encourage to continue practicing with the team members through email.
Thank you for offering to pray for me. Please pray for our family...my daughers are in Colombia, South America visiting my wife's family for a few weeks before the start of school and I am always concerned about their safety when they travel. Since I was gone from work for almost a month, I had lots of work to come back to. My oldest daugher starts university at the end of August in San Diego, California.
How about you? Are you taking a vacation prior to the start of school? Is there anything that I can pray for you regarding? Also, here is an link to a website you may find intersting to use as a daily devotional.
Please stay in touch and let me know how you are doing and if I can lift you up in prayer.
In Christ,
Phil Lauri
