despite用法的小问题

我最近看了despite这个介词的用法，因为后面要加词或词组，用的很不习惯，所以查了些例句，可这两句我不是太明白

despite it all 尽管它不是全部
accept despite complete satisfaction. 虽不完全满意的接受。
例句这样的翻译对么？如果对为什么要有否定的含义呢？谢谢

despite是一个介词，它后面加名词词组
Despite用作介词时，与 in spite of同义，都表示“尽管”、“虽然”、“不顾”之意

放在句首时，要接成分，成分也就是句子的组成部分，由词或词组充当。

despite的用法：
◆尽管他很忙，他还是来了车站迎接我们。
误：Despite he was busy, he came to the station to meet us.
正：Despite he being busy, he came to the station to meetus.
正：Despite the fact that he was busy, he came to thestation to meet us.
析：despite(尽管)是介词，不是连词，所以不能用来引导句子，若其后要跟 that 从句，需插入 the fact。
