英语翻译的问题，请教高人。

“当你不可以再拥有的时候，唯一可以做的，就是放在记忆的最深处。”这句话该怎么翻译最好？
小生虽不才，但英语也过了四级。不要弄些翻译软件什么的，糊弄我。有些回答句法、语法都不通。求个最佳翻译。没错这句话会有很多种翻译，但我想应该有一个比较合适的。希望能加上这句话的语义，对于“不可以”“在拥有”“唯一可以做的”这些的揣测用词准确一点。谢谢。
