一. 先要说lot of, a lots of, a lots。英文没有lot of, a lots of, a lots这种说法。

二. lot[lɔt], 名词n. 许多, 大量；签; 抽签；命运; 运气；一块地, 场地。
复数：lots ，
复数 lots（1）号码签，如：They drew lots to decide who should begin. 他们用抽签的方法来决定谁先开始。 （2）份儿[C] ，如：He divided the fruit into three lots.他将水果分成三份。
《注明： lots一般不单独用的，常组成短语：lots of大量，许多。》

三. A lot of和lots of都是“很多”的意思，用法如下：
