Good afternoon, class. Today let’s talk about getting online. Many students like getting online very much. They can get more information from the Internet. Playing computer games can make them cleverer. But some students play too much computer games. Some even make friends online. They write too many letters to each other. These activities take too much of their time. So they do worse and worse in their studies. I think they mustn’t get online. When it’s time to study. They can do it when they don’t have homework, or after studying. The best time for playing games is during winter and summer holidays.

As we all know, more and more students get on-line. Just as a coin has two sides. Students' surfing the internet has both its advantages and disadvantages.
On one hand, students can learn how to use the modern machine---computers by surfing the Internet. By using the computers and surfing the Internet, they can learn more knowledge and information. Most students also find that playing computer games makes them more intelligent. All of these are certainly of great benefit to the students.
On the other hand,some students spend too much time in playing games , which is harmful to those students' health and growth. And there are some students who use so much time to be on-line that they fall behind others in studies.
In my opinion, students shouldn't surf the Internet at school. When spending summer or winter holidays, they can use some time to be on-line.
