How I Learn at College Now that we have graduated from the senior high and began our college life, we should pay attention to the different ways of learning between the former and the latter. In my senior high school, I used to take down what the teachers said without hesitation. Accustomed to the rote learning, I rarely thought about the questions by myself. Owing to regarding the high marks as the most important criterion when evaluating students, we spent all our time learning, reciting, taking exams and had few chances to concern about the society. However, by contrast, to improve my learning ability, I choose the most critical information the teachers convey to us to put down and follow the teachers as well as possible. On account of more free time in our college life, we should learn to spend our time efficiently. In addition, I think we should evaluate a student not only by his or her scores but also the talent he shows in taking part in the varieties of activities and the social responsibility he owns. As far as I’m concerned, only by shifting the way of learning to adapt to the college life can we show the best of us in the stage of college.
