The VECX can be moved using a two wheel dolly. If the unit is picked up or moved using a fork lift be certain to support it properly, as sudden starts and stops may cause the unit to tip over.
INSTALLATION:
Locate the unit on a flat surface with adequate drainage. Secure the frame to the floor with dead bolts through the mounting holes supplied on the legs of the frame. It may be preferable to first line up the inlet and outlet pipes first, before sinking anchor dead bolts. Be sure there is consideration given to expansion and contraction of the piping being installde. Be sure to support all piping adequately, and do not rely solely on the VEC headers as a primary support of field plumbing .
After plumbing the VEC and bolting it to the floor, power must be connected. A hub connection is supplied at the bottom of the enclosure to facilitate field power entrance. Be sure to obtain power requirements from the data nameplate which is attached to the frame of the VEC. Run proper size conductors and be certain the work is done be a qualified electrician.
