see sb doing sth / hear sb doing sth

make/see/watch/hear/find sb. doing(do)sth.
1. 在make sb. do/doing sth.
eg ▲ What made you think so?
▲ The boss made the workers working all day.
eg ▲ People who won't work should be made to work.
   2. hear/see/watch/find/look at/listen to sb. doing sth.
eg ▲ I heard the girl playing the piano at this time yesterday.
▲ I saw him playing football on the playground just now.
▲ He stopped to watch us working.
▲ He found the people living better than ever before.
▲ The father looked at his son writing.
▲ Did you listen to them singing then?
   3. hear/see/watch/find sb. do sth.
eg ▲ I often hear the girl play the piano in the next room.
▲ Over the years, we've seen musical groups with pretty strange names come and go.
▲ I watched them get into the car.
▲ They find the Chinese people to be happy and cheerful.

hear/listen(to)/hear of(about)/hear from
    listen to表示动作;hear表示结果,有时虽然“listen to”,但不一定能“hear”。
eg ▲ I listened attentively but heard nothing.
2. hear of(about) & hear from
    (1) hear of和hear about都有“听说”之意,
eg ▲ Have you ever heard of her?
      相当于“receive/get a letter from sb.”。
