Sb. is sure to do sth.=I am sure that sb. will do sth.
条件状语从句用现在时表示将来。
2. C. buy sth. for sb. 为某人买某物。
我们可以说：Buy sb. sth, 也可以说buy sth. for sb. (不用to sb.)
但如果直接宾语是人称代词it时，不可以说：buy sb. it, 只能说buy it for sb.
感觉题目中的it用法有误。要么在ice cream之前加上the,表示特指，要么选项C改为buy one for you.
an ice cream一份冰淇淋，是可数的。
