sure 形容词，不能作谓语，所以前面加了系动词are。
a piece of clothing 中clothing 是不可数名词，一件衣服，不可以说a clothing。就像一张纸要说 a piece of paper一样。一件衣服还可以说：an article of clothing 。所以代替一件衣服是单数，所以把them改为it。

talk with the shopkeeper 是本句话的主句，talk 是谓语动词，主语you省去了。后面的try就必须是非谓语动词，其逻辑主语必须是you。你还价，主动，用现在分词trying to make ..., 作伴随状语。

如果在shopkeeper 后加上连词and，那么这个trying 就要改成try ，变成两个并列谓语：talk ... and try to make...

我知道 如果加 一个 and 在前面 肯定用 and try to…但是 为什么 后面 不可以是 祈使句呢？ 祈使句 是不需要变ing的呀

我纠结的是 如果是两个祈使句 只能用 and 连接么？
