go for a picnic 和have a picnic 都是固定词组。一个是强调去野餐，for就相当于给、为。
像for you一样，这里的for就是给、为。foryou，为你、给你。
如果问公式的话、就是forget to do sth.忘了去做某事
还有forget doing sth.忘了做过的某事（这是语法、需要背的，要记下去）
