be the first (sb/sth) to do ，算是英语中一种约定俗成的用法。如果你用reaching，也不错，但是它表达的意思是正在接近山顶，而且不地道。

是这个样子的，这是一个句式。
this is first time to do sth 。to不是介词。
表示第几次做某事，接动词原形！
