A Study on Suitable Living-room Environment for Persons Lacking Sense of Security

Abstract: Sense of living-room security involves the life quality of every individual. However, little attention has paid to it. The purpose of this article is to explore the characteristic of suitable living-room environment for persons lacking sense of security. Maslow security - insecurity scale (SI) and Security quality scale (SQ) is used to ensure the validity fo the test,accompanied by in-depth interview data. The paper closed with effective and reasonable suggestions of color, area, air quality, and space function of living-room.

Research on Suitable Room Environment for People Without the Sense of Security

Abstract: Room safety concerns the life quality of every single person, but it hasn't got enough attention from people. This paper aims to discuss the characteristics of suitable room environement for people without the sense of safety, adopts Maslow's Security Sense-Insecurity Sense Questionnaire (SI) and Safety Questionnaire (SQ) to confirm the validity of the subjects, and on the basis of case interviews, proposes effective and reasonable suggestions for room environment color, area, air quality and space function, etc.
