1.how many 问数量，意思为“多少？”
例如How many apples do you have?你有多少个苹果？
How many students are there in your class?你们班上有多少学生？
2.how much 问不可数名词的“多少？”，通常是问价钱，时间等。
例如How much should I pay?我应该付多少钱？
也就是how many 跟how much意思是一样的，只是how many问的是可数名词的数量；how much问的是不可数名词。
3.how long 问时间，“多长？多久？”
How long have you been waiting?你等多久了？
How long can I get there by bus?我坐巴士要多久才能到达那里？
4.how often 问时间频度，意为“多久……次、是否经常”。用频度副词回答，就是often,always,sometimes，once a week等
