澳大利亚计算机协会（The Australian Computer Society, ACS）是澳大利亚移民部指定的ICT职业的移民职业评估机构，对计算机和通信相关职业进行职业评估，相关IT职业只有通过ACS评估才能进行下一步的签证申请或州担保申请。

协会简介
澳大利亚计算机协会成立于1996年，是澳洲移民局指定的 ICT(Information Communication Technology) 移民职业评估机构。其目标是为了进一步研究和开发信息技术， 制定并推广信息通讯技术标准等。凡是准备以计算机相关技术专业移民澳大利亚的申请人，都必须首先完成 ACS 的专业技术职业评估。只有通过 ACS 评估的职业后才能进行下一步的签证申请或州担保申请。[1]
ACS 一般职业技能评估类型：
澳大利亚大学应届毕业生（澳洲毕业生，英语授课，学习时间92周以上，毕业半年之内）
澳大利亚大学应届毕业生考虑工作经验
技能类
学历和工作经验认可
RPL类 Recognition of Prior Learning
申请条件
ACS ICT职业评估，不要求专业和学历；ACS评估有效期2年，评估周期12周。2013年4月起，ACS 新的标准开始根据申请人的学历，专业和职业减工作年限，符合评估标准之后的工作经验才算 Skilled employment： Only employment completed after the date you have met the ACS requirements will be counted as skilled employment.

申请流程
ACS评估申请材料准备好后，通过ACS在线系统进行在线申请提交，并在线用信用卡支付申请费；After the ACS evaluation application materials are ready, submit the application online through the ACS online system, and pay the application fee online with credit card;
提交后会收到ACS自动发送的在线申请递交确认信，并可以通过在线系统查询申请状态；After submission, we will receive the confirmation letter of online application submission automatically sent by ACS, and we can query the application status through the online system.
如果审理过程中需要补交材料，提交后一周内会收到电子邮件的补料信，并在邮件中提供补料的链接，补交的材料提交后继续进入审理流程；If supplementary materials need to be submitted in the process of hearing, the supplementary materials will be received by email within one week after submission, and the link of supplementary materials will be provided in the email. The supplementary materials will continue to enter the hearing process after submission.
如果申请过程中没有补料环节的话，一般是递交后一周左右会收到电子邮件发来的ACS评估结果通知信，附件附上申请人的ACS评估函。If there is no material supplement in the application process, the notification letter of ACS evaluation result will be received by email about one week after submission. Attached is the applicant's ACS evaluation letter.
