Daniel, 18 years old, the author of this illustrated book of mine.
I had no idea about him before the presentation day. I'd thought that the author of this deeply sad story was of someone of 30 o 35 years old, then he jumped up to the stage.
We had little chance to talk on that presentation day of this book, only a few minutes at the noisy barra during the night. But we did changed our emails.
Then I met him online today, and I had a Fabulous chat with him!
Maybe it's because of the first-impression, I smell something poetic of every words of this young boy.
It's incredible to talk to him, to share with him all the details of this illustrating job that past through me, which occured to him at some early time.
If I really need to find a word to describe what I felt, I will pick "fresh".
It was a totally fresh talk. I never could imagine that I can talk with some less-than-20 guy like this o about this topic. It supposed to be a conversation with deep thought, which is supposed to be done with someone mature, but It's incredible talking with his young brain.
I can't help thinking over about what a kind of young brain he has to do such a job. I kept asking him what made him to write such a story. And he told me it was about the sadness, the blindness with eyes-opened, and the human indifference. Can you believe they are what I was being told by a BOY?
I shared with him some feeling I got when I was reading his book. Put the youth apart, it's fabulous talk to the writer himself after reading and working on his work.
Now he is a freshman of Department of Law in the univercity. He is young, cute, smart, active, sensitive, mature... He has all his future in front of him, and I love him.
P.S I have a photo of him who looks like Harry Potter!!!! but, to post it, I need his authorization first. :P
