正 初学英语的人都知道 there's 是 there is 或 there has 的缩略形式.主要用于口语。但是语言是不断发展变化的,口语的表达方式更是如此。下面是笔者从美国人 Studs Terkel 所著 Working 一书中摘录的几个句子:There's four dials.I like to see there's enough ash trays when they're having their coffeeand cigarettes.One possibility:there's horses all around him,he's in the middle,he can'tcontrol his horse.
