Bell was born in Scotland in 1847. Bell found a job in the United States. He worked as a teacher in a new school for the deaf. He liked to help the deaf . He tried to find a way to send a voice over wires.
Bell thought that spoken words were made up of different vibrations. He thought that if a wire could carry vibrations, it could surely carry a manâs voice, Bell kept working at it,. His assistant worked with hin for nearly four years. They tried their best to make their wishes come true.
Then, one day in 1874,Bell was at his receiver in one room. Suddenly he heard a sound come from the other room. He hurried to his assistantâs room and shouted, âWhat did you do them?â He was excited because he succeeded. Then Bell made his first telephone . But his telephone carried voices only a little way . Later Edison made a better one .And the telephone we use now is much better than Edison.
