Christmas is annual festival in western world that is one of the most important festivals for

day. I think there are the following reasons that make Christmas popular in China. First, it’s

a western holiday and it’s new to Chinese. Second, with the development of the world, the

mutual influence between China and the west makes it work. Last, the merchants make great

contribution to its popularity.
