英语当中并没有“顺便问一下”这样的词组。我知道常用的大概有三个：
-By the way...
By the way, do you have any cups that I can use? 顺便问一下，你还有没有多余的杯子（可以让我用的）？

-Just saying... but
Just saying, but do you have any cups that I can use? 只是问一下，但你有没有多余的杯子 （可以让我用的 ）？

-Just in case... but
Just in case, but do you have any cups that I can use? 以防万一问一下，你还有没有多余的杯子（可以让我用的）？

当然，最正式的就是第一个，第二个可以和朋友说第三个就是通用吧。。。
注：Just saying 也可以用作是“只是说说而已”的意思。
例子：
A: "So I guess the thing was going pretty well?"
B: "What?!"
A: "Just saying. :P"
