Hello everyone,
today I am going to talk about the migration of wildebeest (Connochaetes Taurinus). Although they live in the central Eastern Africa, they are famous for their annual long-distance
migration. Obviously, the heat doesn't stop them at all. But, why they do that,
cross the lands under the huge sun?

Well, if we on track their actions, we will find that their annual migration seemingly timed
to coincide with the annual pattern of rainfall and grass growth. At the end of
the rainy season, which is May or June in East Africa, they migrate to
dry-season areas in response to a lack of drinking water. And then, when the
rainy season begins again, like, several months later, they would quickly move
back to their wet-season ranges. So they are migrating for a better place to
survive.
