i passed a man seated on the grass.

He seated himself at his desk.

i passed a man 【who was seated on the grass.
=i passed a man 【 seated on the grass.
=i passed a man 【 sitting(不及物动词) on the grass.

I saw a man seated on the chair in the room.
She is seated at the back of the classroom.
He is dressed in a black suit.
I found her dressed in white today.

a man seated on the grass= a man who is seated on the grass= a man sitting on the grass
