Stakeholders are those who can affect or be affected by the activities of the company.
There are internal stakeholders and external stakeholders. Employees, shareholders are internal stakerholders and suppilers, customers,government and unions are external stakeholders.

A financial decision is usually made by internal stakeholders,however, the implication is that, if one of the powerful stakeholder is not satisfy with the financial decisions, there may be concequences.

For example, if there is no dividend for this year,shareholder may not be happy and replace the CFO, if the salaries are too low, there may be protest organized by the union,if there is too much pollution,green peace may come to intervene the production processes. and the government authorties may also publish new regulations to help an industry.
