刚才这个the chair is broken .i need to fix it .the chair needs to be fixed .这里的被动语态.to be fixed be 怎么才能变成其它的词，也就是to was fixed 这样的，可以不用be 吗
这里的do 不是原型吗，应该可以换成其它的动词吧

在此处need是作为实义动词
need作实义动词时，人做主语用need to do sth，物作主语用need doing sth或need to be done
The chair needs to be fixed.正是need to be done的形式
就是说to要加的是动词原形。不管是am/is/are/was/were/being/been的动词原形皆为be.

这是固定词组 do with 有：利用，处理；需要；忍受 等意思
do with与deal with是近义的
do with 常与连接代词 “what” 连用，
deal with 常与连接副词 ”how“ 连用

The chair is broken. I need to fix it. The chair needs to be fixed. 在最后那句被动句中，need to 后边只能接动词原形，因为 “to 不定式”后边是固定的动词原形。即便need to 后边接被动语态，也要求用原形的be，这里是无法改成be的其他形式的。和need to的效果相同的还有can, must, should等，后边都只能接动词原形。如：The chair should be fixed.

如果在简单句中，没有need to，can，must，should这类的动词，be是可以随着时态和主语数格的改变而改变的。如：The chair was fixed just now.
