白芳礼被誉为“当代武训”。1987年，73岁的他在天津蹬了一辈子三轮车后回到家乡，发现一些孩子因贫困失学，心痛难忍，捐出5000元养老金。之后他重返天津，又蹬起了三轮。老人自己过着极其简朴的生活，却在之后的15年里捐给贫困学生35万元。如今，人们拍摄了一部关于他的电影来纪念他，其家乡小学也以他的名字命名。

Now people make a film based on his story to publicize his deeds and spirits and memorize him. Besides, the primary school in his hometown was named after him. What a kind-hearted man and what a touching story.
