2. SHROUDING REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Transit shrouding for garments delivered HANGING
• Do not individually shroud garments unless on the exception list
• Unshrouded garments (garments not on the exception list) to be overbagged in sets of 5.
Individually shrouded garments (garments on the exception list) to be set tied in sets of 5. Do not over bag
• Garments that are delivered on a jacket hanger (references DEBJT5 / LJ) must be overbagged in sets of 2’s. Do not individually shroud or set tie
• Do not set tie bar loaded garments
• Strung loaded garments must be set tied. Only short plastic set ties to be used, NO elastic bands or string.
• Overbags must be secured at the bottom by heat sealing (if this is not possible, they can be tied or taped with recyclable high-tac tape)
• Do not use any tissue, foam, paper, card, plastic clips, collar boards etc
2.2. Transit shrouding for garments delivered FLAT
• Do not individually shroud garments unless on the exception list
• Unshrouded garments must be delivered in polythene lined cartons
• Do not put hangers loose in the carton. If shipped with the product, hangers must be inserted in the garment.
• Product with hangers must not be set tied
• Do not use any foam, paper, card, plastic clips, collar boards
• Additional tissue must be agreed in writing by a Debenhams technologist prior to shipment. Tissue must be recyclable
