be about后接to do还是doing？

英语书上有句话是“My visit is all about making friends”
但记得老师说是“be about to do=be going to do”
到底应该是加to do 还是doing?
解释并分析一下 ,为什么英语书上写的是doing，是有别的意思么？

“be about to”后面接“ do”相当于“be going to do”。 

“be about to”意为“就要、即将干某事”，指最近的将来，表示动作马上就要发生。
