同位语从句中的where和that能否互换
定语从句中的where和that呢？
定语从句中的that我指的是可不可以做地点状语的意思

1. 同位语从句中的where和that不能互换。
如果同位语从句为陈述句且不缺少任何成分，则用that来引导；
如果同位语从句含有疑问含义且缺少“是否”，则用whether来引导；
如：I know the truth that the earth moves around the sun.
I'd like to ask the question whether the earth moves around the sun.

2. 定语从句中的where和that的能否互换问题，要分两者情况来讨论；
1）如果定语从句缺少的是名词性成分，则只能用that，不能用where
如：This is the place that I visited last year.
that代替the place做visited的宾语，不能用where
2）如果定语从句缺少的是地点状语，则一般用where，但是在非正式场合如口语中时可以换用成that.
如：This is the place where I stayed last month.
定语从句I stayed last month中缺少地点状语in the place，所以最好用关系副词where，但是有时也可以用that来代替。
注：该用法比较少见，建议不要乱用，考试时还是以where为好。

当然不行了..
同位语从句的where 是有意思的, 就是哪里.
比如 We haven’t yet settled the question where we are going to spend our summer vacation.到哪儿去度暑假，这个问题我们还没有决定。
换成that那哪里这个意思就丢了..

定语从句中先行词是place时可以互换
This is the place where(that) I first met her.

同位语从句里不能换，换了就没有表示地点的意思了，
定语从句也不能换，where表示in which的意思，而that前不能加介词，所以不能换。
