帮妈妈做家务

星期日上午，我和妈妈一起在家看书。无意间，我看了看妈妈，她正在看书，我又抬头看了看时钟，已经11点30分了。我悄悄地走到妈妈旁边，对她说：“妈妈，今天让我来煮饭菜吧。”妈妈点了点头，说：“好吧！”

煮饭时，我量好米后用清水把米洗干净，放入高压煲中，盖上盖子，开好煤气、抽油烟机，煮饭时该做的事情已经做好了。

接着我开始洗莲藕，把凹进去的地方洗干净后。我就开始切莲藕了。我首先把砧板放好，然后把砧板、刀都洗干净，接着，就开始切莲藕了。忽然，妈妈走了进来，她看到我切的莲藕后，亲切地对我说：“不是这样切。”说完，妈妈就开始切，经过观察，我知道妈妈为什么说“不是这样切”，因为，妈妈切的时候先把莲藕破开，然后再切；而我没有把莲藕破开，切法不同。我看妈妈切了两个后，就想切了，妈妈说：“我帮你把这些莲藕破开，然后再让你切。” 妈妈切了许多个的时候，忽然看见一个莲藕里面有污泥，就用清水冲洗, 我随手拿到一只莲藕，想将它破开，没想到，我一切，它一滚，到头来，竟然自己把自己的手指切破了。我一看手流血，连忙告诉妈妈，她见了，叫我用手指按住，然后去找“创可贴”，找到后，给我贴上了。本来，我是帮妈妈做家务，没想到，这忙倒没帮上，反而给妈妈添麻烦。本来想让妈妈享半天的福，却反而让她担心，我觉得很对不起妈妈。

经过这件事，我受到了启发：第一，做事不能毛毛糙糙，应该小心点，凡事要三思而后行；第二，要经常锻炼自己，我切菜时都这么容易切伤手，那妈妈切的时候又快又好，是因为妈妈每天都做这件事情，久而久之，就很熟练了，我也应该多锻炼；第三，自己做一件家务事都这么不容易，何况妈妈天天都做，我应该体会到妈妈的辛苦，应该帮妈妈多做些事。

There are four key points to study English: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Firstly, we should be brave to talk with others in English. By doing this, we can improve ore talking and listening skill.
Secondly, we should try to listen to all kinds of English programmes as much as possible. In this way, we can gradually improve our pronunciation.
Thirdly, we should often read English books. When we come across a new word. We should guess its meaning through the contest first. Then look it up in the dictionary to have a check. I thin,, it is a good way of reading.
Fourthly, we should practice our writing skills. Whenever we have any idea, we should get the pen and write it down at once. It is very important to avoid writing in Chinese way and using the Chinese grammar.
As long as we listen, speak, read and write more, we are sure to make remarkable progress
