　　1、regret to do 表示很遗憾地做某事(事情还没有做)，其后要接不定式；能这样用的不定式不多，主要是 to say, to tell, to inform等，此时句子主语一般是第一人称，且regret通常用现在时。
　　例如：

　　We regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you the job.

　　2. regret doing表示后悔或遗憾做过某事（为已经做过的的事情感到遗憾），其后通常接动名词，且动名词可用一般式或完成式。
