    1. “It’s not fair.”

    “这不公平。”

    In fact, you will always find that there are unfair things happen every day.

    事实上,你会发现不公平每天都会发生。

    Just like your colleague got a raise, you didn’t.

    就像是你的同事加薪了,你却没有。

    The only way to avoide it is to solve the issues. Complaining passively is useless.

    2.“I don’t have time for this right now,” or “I’m too busy.”

    Even if these statements are true, no one wants to feel less important than something or someone else.

    You may say: I’d be happy to discuss this with you after my morning meetings. May I stop by your office around 1pm?”

    3. “That’s impossible!”

    “那不可能!”

    When you say these negative phrases, your words convey a pessimistic, passive, even hopeless outlook. This approach is seldom valued in the workplace.

    当你说出这种消极的话时,说明你为人消极悲观甚或决绝,这是职场大忌。

    Instead, try something like, “I’ll be glad to check on it again,” “Let’s discuss what’s possible under these circumstances,” or, “What I can do is this.”

    你应该说“我最好再检查一遍吧”、“让我们看看这种情况下还能有什么办法”或“我能做些什么”。

    4. “That’s not my problem,” or “That’s not my job.”

    “那不是我的问题”或者“那不是我的工作”。

    This must be the worest reaction in you company.

    Your boss will think that you are lacking of good team-spirit and even want to fire you.

    Meanwhile, this doesn’t mean you have to say yes; it does mean you need to be articulate and thoughtful when saying no.

    Avoid making unkind, judgmental statements that will inevitably reflect poorly on you.

    If you have a genuine complaint about someone or something, communicate the issue with tact, consideration and neutrality.
