原文来于张小娴《荷包里的单人床》--世界上最遥远的距离，不是生与死的距离，不是天各一方，而是，我就站在你面前，你却不知道我爱你。

泰戈尔的作品集是没有的（风格也不符合），一些研究印度文学和泰戈尔的学者表示，没有见过这首诗。此诗被国内误传很久了。

来源：《读者》2003年第14期上的引诗，署名是泰戈尔，摘自同年第5期《女子文学》（现改名《女子文摘》）。但在《女子文摘》中说明，这首诗是摘于网上 。后被查证最早是台湾阳明神农坡医学院的一些同学在BBS中集体创作的。所以此诗成了伪诗。

对楼上的所有回答实在很抱歉，这首诗原创是中国作家张小娴。
《荷包里的单人床》在2000年版中，张小娴专门就这个文坛公案作了澄清。序中说，小说完成于1997年5月，讲的是一个暗恋的故事，封面那段话是借书中主人公苏盈之口说的。
原文是：“‘世界上最遥远的距离，不是生与死的距离，不是天各一方，而是，我就站在你面前，你却不知道我爱你’。
张小娴在序中说：别人都以为我是抄泰戈尔的，只有我和我的出版社知道我没有抄，这真是世界上最遥远的距离。
