B. Toward(s) VS Toward to： 它们的用法是有区别的。
Toward(s) sb./sth： 向某人或物体的方向靠近
Toward to sb./sth: 向某人或某物体靠近，此处重点是 "to"， 甚至可省略toward.
I walk toward that green house. 我往那间绿房子的方向走去。(下文可能是，转了个弯，来到了小河边）
I walk toward to that green house. 我走向了那间绿房子。（下文可能是，到了门前，敲响了门。）
C. Toward(s) Doing Sth.： 帮助达成某事
The money borrowed will go a long way towards paying for her expensive medical treatment. 借来的钱可以用来支付她昂贵的医药费。
toward和to作为介词时不能连用；toward常作为介词来使用，是对于、向、为了、接近的意思，也可以作为形容词但不常用，是即将来到的、进行中的意思；toward和towards区别不大，作为介词时可以互换使用，但towards只能作为介词，因此当toward作为形容词时不能互换使用。
