与give sth. back to sb.的意思相同吗？

give sth back to sb. 把…归还给某人= give sb back sth = return sth to sb (return sb sth) She picked it up and gave it back to me. 她把它捡了起来，并把它还给了我。

很少有用give sth. back in return的，这句从字面上看是和give sth. back to sb意义相同的，但是习惯上不会这么说
