Since the 21st century, Shangdong Province has been a large province of fishery which is rich in aquatic resources and has unique natural advantages of developing the fishery industry. The development of fishery industry have made quite great contributions to the economy of Shangdong Province, but it is also facing some problems. At this moment, it is of great importance to put forward solutions to the problems. According to the current condition of fishery industry of Shangdong Province, the analysis of solutions will be given by doing research.
This paper points out the problems and weakness of fishery industry of Shangdong province during the process of development according to its current condition and puts forward effective measures. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction part, pointing out the background and significance of this research and the condition of the fishery industry. The second part is by combining the current condition of fishing industry with its existing problems to get results about important factors influencing the
development of fishery.
The third part is about what the international experience for the development of fisheries can give some hints for the development of fishery of Shandong Province. The fourth part will put forward countermeasures from the following aspects: improving fishery laws, developing its regional advantages and consolidating policy guidance, enhancing protection and management of fishery resources, focusing on fishery industrial structure adjustment and optimization, enlarging the scale of fishery industry and stongly developing recreational industries etc.
