但是，生活就总体而言总是朴素的，因此也是平凡的。当这个激动期过去之后，你会发现，即使大学的生活也不像想象得那么令人激动。也许公寓宿舍有种种不便；也许食堂的饭菜不合自己的口味；也许有些课程、甚至一些原来很看好的课程也很乏味；也许发现原来大名鼎鼎的教授也很平常；也许满怀热情提出的某些建议久久没有回复；也许考试成绩不很理想；也许许多老师都可能太忙，根本注意不到你的麻烦和困扰；也许你们很多人在入校之前暗暗下的决心很快就忘了……。
But life is always plain and ordinary. When the excitement passes, you will find that even college life is not as exciting as you think. Perhaps the apartment dormitory has all sorts of inconveniences; maybe the canteen meals don't suit your taste; maybe some of the courses, even some of the courses that used to be good, are boring; maybe the famous professors are common; maybe some of the suggestions put forward with enthusiasm haven't been answered for a long time; maybe the exam results are not very satisfactory. Maybe many teachers are too busy to notice your troubles and troubles; maybe a lot of you are secretly determined to forget before entering school.
