a bit和a little都作"一点儿"讲,但用法不同。
The speaker spoke up a bit/a little so as to make himself heard more clearly.
2)a bit和a little在否定句中的意思恰恰相反,not a bit相当于"not at all"(一点儿都不);not a little相当于"very(much)"或"extremely"(很、非常)。例如:
She is not a bit tired.(=She is not tired at all.)
There is a little/a bit of food left for lunch.
4)a bit of的另一种形式是bits of,a little则没有这种变体。例如:Besides this,he used part of an old army wireless set,and some bits of wood.
a little可直接修饰名词,但a bit后须加of方可接名词。如: She knows a little English. Please lend me a bit of money. a little与a bit用在肯定句中修饰形容词或副词时可通用。如It’s a bit/a little cold today. not a bit表示“一点也不”,相当 于not at all; not a little意同very, 表示“很、非常”。 I’m not a bit tired. I’m not a little tired.
Will you please turn down the radio a bit/a little?(动词)请你把收音机声音关小一点好吗?
She's a bit/a little afraid of the teacher.(形容词)她有点怕老师。
Her mother feels a bit/a little better today.(比较级)她母亲今天感觉好一些。
2.for a bit和for a little意思相同,相当于for a while或for a short time,可互换。例如:
Let's rest for a bit/a little.
1.a little可以直接修饰不可数名词,而a bit修饰不可数名词时,只能用a bit of。例如:
Tom has a little money./Tom has a bit of money.
但是,当a little修饰的名词前有this,that,所有格等限定词时,也要用a little of结构。例如:
I want to drink a little of that drink.
2.a bit和a little与not连用时,意思大相径庭。not a bit=not at all,意为"一点也不";not a little=very much,意为"十分"、"相当"、"极其"。例如:
He is not a bit tired.
He is not a little tired.
a bit,一点儿,例句:a bit dreary
(4)bite
a little bit +n(不可数) / adj
a little +n(不可数)
:a little milk
a few 后加可数 n
比如, a little difficult/ a bit difficult.
little和a little修饰不可数名词,few和a few修饰可数名词
a little:还有一点

如:go through the forest“穿过森林”,go across the street “穿过大街”
------
The river runs through our city.
He passed through the hall.
I swam across the Changjiang River 20 years ago.
Look left and right before you go across the street.
Walk______the birdge,don't run.
A.across B.through
A.across
I walked past the shop yesterday.
The sun shines into the house through the window.
Don't cross the street while the red light is on.
You may cross the street while the green light is on.
