一、 常见的疑问词:
what什么（询问事物）
why为什么（询问原因）

二．常见的疑问词搭配：
how much多少；多少钱（询问价格或不可数名词的数量）
how old多大年龄，几岁（询问年龄）
how many 多少(询问可数名词的数量)
what time 几点，什么时间（询问时间，尤其是点钟）,
what kind of什么品种，什么样的（询问种类）,
how far多远（询问路程，距离）
how long多久，多长（询问时间长短，物体的长度）
how often多久(一次）（询问频率，次数）
how soon多久(常用于将来时，询问多长时间以后能．．．)
－How soon can he get here?
－He can get here in half an hour．
—How much is it? 这个多少钱？
—It's twenty dollars. 二十美元。
—What kind of movies do you like? 你喜欢哪一类型的电影？

二、特殊的语序。
特殊疑问句由疑问词开头，其一般结构是“疑问词 + 一般疑问句－提问部分”。
但要注意：
１．对谓语动词提部时，要加动词do，do的形式要与原句一致．
２．how much询问不可数名词的数量时，how many ，which,whose后常先接名词．
如：
He is playing basketball with his friends.
一般疑问句：Is he playing basketball with his friends?
对He提问：Who is playing basketball with his friends?
对playing basketball 提问：what is he doing with his friends?
There are 60 students in our class.
一般疑问句：Are there 60 students in your class?
对60提问：How many students are there in your class?
三、特殊的答语。
特殊疑问句不能用yes, no来回答，而应根据它所询问的内容直接做出回答才行。如：
— What time is it, please? 请问几点了？
— It's 7:30. 七点半了。
— Where are they? 他们在哪儿？
—They're in the playground. 他们在操场上。
—What's your favorite subject? 你最喜爱的科目是什么？
—English. 英语。
注意区分：when,how soon,how long,how often
when（何时，什么时间） 对具体时间提问（回答为具体的时间）
how soon（多久，多快）对时间长短，快慢提问(常用in+一段时间回答)
how long(多长时间)对时间长短提问(回答为一段时间)
how often(多久一次)对频率，次数提问（回答为多长时间多少次）
例：
When did you get up this morning?
I got up at 7o'clock.
How soon will you get home?
In half an hour.
How long can I keep the book?
A week.
How often do you go to school?
We usually go to school five days a week?
