Deutsch",the German word for German.Families of these German people still live in the eastern United States,many in the state of Pennsylvanin.they are konwn as the Pennsylvanin Dutch.during the American Civil War,supporters of the nothern side in the central atste of Missouri were called Dutch.because many of the them were German settlers.

17世纪是个毗邻竞争的时期,许多从美式英语里听到的与dutch有关的表达被用到英式英语里。那时英语用dutch这个词表达有害的,错误的,虚伪的意思。
