三. 如何判断从句：
判断一个句子是什么从句，依据这个句子在整个句子里面作什么成分，
如果是作主语，就是主语从句，一般在句子开头，但是为了避免头重脚轻，会用形式主语it代替，而把主语从句放在句子后面；
如果是放在及物动词或者介词后面作宾语，表示内容关系的是宾语从句；
如果在be动词或者其它连系动词后面，就是表语从句；
如果在名词后面，限制修饰名词的就是定语从句；
名词后面，但是表示名词的内容就是同位语从句；
在句子里面作状语，表示时间、地点、原因、方式、条件等就是状语从句。
例如：
1、My idea is that we should do it right now.（表语从句）
我的想法是我们应该马上做这件事。
2、She won’t believe that he has become a thief.（宾语从句）
她不会相信他已经变成了一个小偷。
3、That he is a famous singer is known to us.（主语从句）
我们都知道他是一位著名的歌手。
4、I knew the news that our team won the match. （同位语从句）
我知道我们队赢了比赛的消息。
5、His suggestion is that we should finish the work at once.（表语从句）
他的建议是我们应该立即完成这项工作。
6、My grandfather lives in a village that is far away from here.（定语从句）
我祖父住在离这里很远的一个村子里。
7、I couldn't remember the words that he said.（定语从句）
我记不起他说了什么。
8、I can lend you the book on condition that you return it in time.（状语从句）
如果你能及时归还，那我可以把书借给你。
They believe ...是主句，you can do it是从句。
这是一个宾语从句，从句的引导词that之前的部分是主句，that不充当成分，也无实际意义，that之后的句子称为从句。
分类:宾语从句分为三类:(1)动词的宾语从句,介词的宾语从句和形容词的宾语从句.
时态: 1·主句用一般现在时，从句可用任意时。 2·主句用过去时，从句用过去某个时态。 3.当为客观事实和科学真理时，从句为一般现在时。Do you know who has won this game?你知道谁赢了这一局游戏吗？Could you please tell me how you read the new panel? 你能展示给我怎么用这个新的操作盘吗?
(2)宾语从句的从属连词主要有that,if,whether.that引导表示陈述句的宾语从句,而if和whether引导表示"是否"的宾语从句. He told me that he would go to the college the next year 他告诉我他将在下一年上大学. I don't know if there will be a bus any more. 我不知道是否还会有公交车. Nobody knew whether he could pass the exam. 没人知道他是否会通过考试.
连接代词主要有who, whom ,whose ,what ,whoever ,whomever ,whosever, whatever, whichever等.连接代词一般指疑问,但what, whatever除了指疑问外,也可以指陈述.I have found out that all the tickets for the concert have been sold out. 我发现这场音乐会的所有票都卖光了. Can you work out how much we will spend during the trip? 你能计算出这次旅行我们将花费多少钱吗?
