保护海洋英语作文80字带翻译

如题所述

1. Marine life, living in the sea and exposed to various chemical substances, is of great importance to humans. However, many people continue to dump garbage into the ocean, leading to pollution. This pollution results in the death of marine life and the depletion of water resources. We must strive to keep our environment clean to protect the beauty of our oceans.
2. The Earth's changing climate has brought about new natural disasters, and the complex city systems are at risk of expanding the damage artificially. Additionally, the immense quantities of chemicals produced and used in pursuit of convenience have unintentionally produced toxic substances, which have accumulated in the environment, posing a risk to human health. Therefore, we need countermeasures from various perspectives to prevent urban environments from disasters and to manage environmental risks effectively. We should develop and improve new risk management systems and disaster prevention systems to preserve and create cities where people can live comfortably and safely.
3. There are many kinds of animals in the world, not just humans. We share the same world and should be friends. As everyone knows, humans are the rulers of the world today, so we should protect our animal friends! To protect them, firstly, we must stop killing rare birds and animals, especially the young ones. Secondly, we need to protect the environment to keep the sky blue, the grass green, and provide animals with comfortable living spaces.
4. The ocean and humans are interconnected. The ocean has a natural ability to handle pollutants through processes like dilution, diffusion, oxidation, reduction, and degradation. However, this capacity is not limitless. When toxic and harmful substances exceed the local water's self-purification ability, it leads to water pollution. Additionally, while the ocean contains many resources, the regeneration of marine resources requires time. If we exploit these resources without control or attention to protection, it will lead to their eventual depletion. Therefore, protecting the marine environment is of utmost importance.
5. Environmental protection has become a significant issue in recent years. One of the most severe problems is the pollution of air, water, and soil. Polluted air is detrimental to human health, while contaminated water can cause diseases and death. Moreover, vegetation has been greatly reduced due to the rapid growth of modern cities. To protect the environment, governments worldwide have taken significant steps, including legislation to control air pollution, protect forests and marine resources, and prevent any form of environmental pollution. Hence, governments play a crucial role in environmental protection today. In my opinion, to safeguard the environment, the government must adopt more concrete measures. Firstly, it should educate the public about the importance of environmental protection. Secondly, greater efforts should be made to implement population control policies, as more people mean more pollution. Finally, those who intentionally destroy the environment should face severe punishment. We must make them understand that destroying the environment is equivalent to destroying humanity itself.
