我知道half past nine 或者 nine thirty 是可以的
那half to ten 或者 thirty to ten 可以吗？是不是本族语者不这么说？

2、如果所表述的时间在半小时之内，可以用“分钟 + past + 小时”：

10:25 twenty-five past ten

3、如果所表述的时间在半小时之外，可以用“（相差的）分钟 + to + （下一）小时”：
