My Elder Sister
My elder sister is 15 years old. With long black hair, she looks very pretty. Having a body
height of about 1.7 meters and a weight of 120 pounds, she also looks very slim. She is now
studying in a middle school. She studies very hard and gets high scores in all the subjects
with English in particular. She can speak English fluently and write smoothly without making
many misstates. She often helps other students in her class in doing their homework. She is
on good terms with her classmates. Last year she was praised and assessed as
the student with Three Good Merits. However she is never proud of herself, for
she clearly understands the proverb “Modesty helps one make progress
while conceit makes one lag behind”. I admire my elder sister for her diligence
