The key to the front door前面钥匙 为什么不说 The key of the front door 呢???? ...的....不是常用of吗???

1.of表示一种从属关系“的”；正如你说的the library of the school，图书馆是学校财产的一部分，所以说学校的图书馆，用of；但是用到key身上就不行了，key和door没有必然联系，无从属关系的，只是这个key是用来作用于door的，所以就是to了；记住，key一般都用to的，key to the door，key to the problem；这里to 有一种指向的意思在里边，也就是作用方向，希望你能体会其中意境；

2.every day意思： each day without exception, 譬如: Every day, he comes home and says, "Hi, Honey. What's for dinner?"
each day强调的是每一个单天，every day强调的是一个习惯的状态；有时候两个词可以互换，但是更多的时候我们使用every day；each day有一些习惯用法：Live Each Day万寿无疆；
