Each and every one of the Jane Austen's novels is a great success. The one that you can not miss is Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma and Persuasion. Sister Susan is just Ok. But I stongly suggest Pride and Prejudice. It is a truth universally acknowledged that Elizabeth and Darcy have the most marvelous love story.
By the way, Jane Eyre is also very nice--the language used by Challotte Bronte is exceedingly beautiful. Moreover, if you still have time, you can read some books of Charles Dicken's, (though it is a little bit boring........)
