1. ASTM F1821-09 :
(100±3)mm thick by (1310±3)mm long by (690±3)mm wide, open cell, polyurethane foam pad having a density of 16kg/m³, having a compression load deflection of 133 N when tested in accordance with Test Methods D 3574, Method B1, to a 25 % deflection, covered with a 5 to

2. S.O.R./86-962:
100 mm thick sheet of polyurethane foam having a density of 30 kg/m3, a 25% indentation load deflection (ILD) of 144 N
800mm long by 600mm wide
3 EN716-2008: A PUR foam sheet with a thickness of 60 mm, a bulk density of (35±2) kg/m3 and an indentation hardness index of (170±40) N in accordance with A.40 of EN ISO 2439:2000 and being at least 400 ´ 800 mm in area but not larger than the mattress base of the cot under test. The mattress shall have a cotton cover with a mass per unit area of 100 g/m2 to 120 g/m2.
4 EN 1725-1998: EN747-2-2007
Flexible polyether foam with a thickness of 100 mm, a density of (30 ± 2) kg/m3 and an indentation hardness index of (170 ± 20) N in accordance with A40 in ISO/DIS 2439. The size at least 500x500 mm. The test mattress shall have a cover with the following characteristics:
- composition: pure cotton;- weave in plain: 1/1;
- mass per unit area: 100 g/m2 to 120 g/m2;
- warp and weft: 20 threads/cm to 30 threads/cm;
- finishing: washed, no finishing agents;
- cover make up: tight fit, but no restriction on the foam.
5. BIFMA X 5.1:2002
have a 25% Indentation Force Deflection (IFD) of 200 N ± 22 N (45 lbf. ± 5 lbf.).
no thickness requirement but 10mm thickness suggested.
