There are many festivals in China,but I love National Day best.why?Firsty,during National Day we can have seven days off .We can go shopping,visit our friends ,go to some interesting places and so on.Secondly ,I love my motherland very much .China is a great country .The Chinese people are brave and hard-working.Iam sure in the future China will be richer and stronger.

Raising flag on National Day A GRAND flag-raising ceremony would be held at the square in front of the Citizens' Center on the morning of Oct. 1 to celebrate China's National Day, a government source said. The national anthem will be played as the five-star red national flag is raised at 7:30 a.m., marking the 55th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. “It will be the largest flag-raising ceremony in the history of Shenzhen, and it will be the first time citizens will be allowed to closely witness the scene,” a government official said. “About 1,000 people from different walks of life in Shenzhen have been anized to attend the ceremony,” he said. The ceremony will be performed by a national flag guard under the local armed police contingent. The team, which was set up in 2002, now has 86 members who have undergone strict professional training. (1)A visit to Beijing On Oct 1st, the National Day of China this year, dad, mom and I went to Beijing to have a vacation. I was so happy because it's the first time that I visit the Great Wall. The Great Wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world.We took the bus to arrive at the foot of the Great Wall. I began to climb the dreamed Great Wall. At first I did not feel tired, but after I stepped a thousands of steps I felt tired and thirsty. At last, we stood on the highest point of the Great Wall.
