请问飞机“飞越”时，何时用fly over，何时用cross

在飞机飞越高山或是田野等等时，何时用fly over ，何时用cross？请帮忙解答。

over 就是从上方飞过，而cross是穿过，一般是横穿。
只要从上方飞过，就可以用fly over，但如果一座桥是南北方向的，飞机从上方或者从空隙间由东向西穿过，就可以说fly cross，这样讲还清楚吧。

across有交叉，穿越之意，可以说fly across the clouds
当然有些用法两个都可以，只是意思不同罢了，如fly over(across) the clouds都可以，但是fly就不能用across the mountain
